Just figured out why the trim ring didn't fit.  It's the trim ring for a Dyna.  Okay.   :dunce2:  Guess that'll teach me to read the fitment details closer.  I just got off the phone with JP Cycles and the right one is on the way!  Part#3100356  FRENCHED HEADLIGHT TRIM RING $29.99.  Shipping is 11.00, so it ends up being just under $40.00 to your doorstep.

This is the link to the part, if you want to order: http://www.jpcycles.com/product/3100356

Is that Frenched trim ring the only one that will fit and cover the light sticking out? I was planning on using the H-D Visor Style on my lights.

The visor style will work fine.  They're identical clam shell type rings so far as their securing around the light is concerned.  Only difference is the little visor lip sticking out the front.

This pic is the visor style trim ring with one of the TruckLite LED lights:

I have my truck light phase 7 on the way. Got mine from Phat Performance also. I know it will make a big difference. I have the harness on my 04 that lets you operate the spots when hi beams are on and its nice. The spots stay on when the bike is parked and the accy switch is on. My question is: is that the way it supposed to work? It's not a terrible big deal,  just gotta remind yourself to turn them off and back on when you are ready to ride.   :nixweiss:

Never quite understood the rationale for that either.  But, yes, the accessory switch position will kill the headlight but leave the spotlights hot.
