I saw the kury 7.   I like the looks of this one way more than the 6.  Anyone try this one yet?   Looks kinda new  :nixweiss:

The reviews look good but have too much tied up in the H-D LEDS to ever find out.

the 6 has a look that I really don't like too much..  The 7 seems much smoother by the pictures..  Then I think some trim ring is needed being that it sticks out a bit.

If the 7 is better than the 6 it must be a good light.  I've got the 6 and it does a great job at night.  On the 05 it is every bit as good as the HIDs it replaced.  The HIDs were a few years old at the time so it's not a new-on-new comparison.  But even with my old eyes I'm comfortable riding at night.

I just finished adding on to a thread about this very thing. Bogie revised his review and the link is also in that thread.

That is totally the best comparison of any products that I can remember.  Also I like the look of the ph 7 and it seems to have the best rating.   So I thing I'll order up that one.  I will most likely need a harness so that my garage door opener will work.  ( I think ). Thanks for the great info.   Bi help on my decision.  I know I have to do something.  I also saw these neat inserts that go in the turn signals.   They are l e d and they aso have an amber light as a blinker.  They are really bright and would probably go well with the ph 7 headlight.   Thanks again  :2vrolijk_21:

Just installed the phase 7 yesterday..haven't had the bike out yet, but it seems much brighter in the garage. You need to buy the HD accessory headlight trim ring since the light sticks out from the stock ring and looks pretty bad until you put the extra trim ring on.

side view with trim ring...you can see how the close the headlight is with the end of the ring so that should give some idea how far out it would stick with only the stock trim ring on

Hey folks, do we have a vendor on here that sells these items? I was in the middle of writing the ebay guy a note to see if we could get a group discount if 10+ people wanted a set. Then I got to thinking about someone not being a vendor on this site and sending business their way. Neil, what's your thinking on this?  Of course then I got to thinking about finding a 20% off parts H-D shop to see if they'd sell harnesses and trim rings at discount. Not sure if that's just crazy talk or not since they would still have to ship to individual addresses and eat up profits.

I already have my front lights but no trim rings or wiring. Plus I'd like to convert the rest of the lighting system over to LED's and get the Bright Ass Light plus turn signal lights. I was working on a document to start a new thread but today has been an odd day. Oh, there is also something going on with load resistance since the current draw is much less running LED's. Anyone know the scoop on this?

Let me know what you think about a group buy and I'll put something together for a new thread and see if we can generate some interest.

Modifying this to say thanks for posting the photos. Torn between that style and the hooded type or even the grooved LED helo ring.

Eagle-eye posted the proper part number for the frenched trim ring from JP Cycles. 3100356.    I may call them today and order one up.   The hd also works they say.
