Great job, she's a real beauty  :2vrolijk_21:
Being young and foolish, I remember when push buttons were becoming popular but we "real men" always had kickstarts. Ahh, the ignorance of youth

Yes, this bike is often referred to as the "End of the Beginning" or the "Beginning of the End", depending what camp you're from.

Some folks thought the electric start has brought a great amount of dilution to the sport, whereas before, you had to know your stuff in order to start and ride a motorcycle.

Others recognize the electric start as the great enabler, allowing many more who were less mechanically inclined to enter the sport.  This, in turn, required more reliable machines for these less-mechanically-inclined.  And the march of time continues.

Flip a coin.

good deal Lew, I had a 67 flh dead stock dresser had only 3,000 miles on it when I bought it in the mid 80s [it got parked in 68] dont get rid of that for nothing. it still blows my mind how much is still the same, or at least so similar to my 11 fltruse and as far as comfort goes the 67 had  better placement of the boards and bars.   I like the old generator 74s

Life begins just outside your comfort zone and you havent lived until you push a full dress harley on a hot day up a grade because your low mile twincam fell apart, and your convinced it's to bitchen to leave it there.           Ugh pardon me but do you have any beer?
