don't give up ,i found  2010 sesg tequila sunrise only 20 miles from my house, it took two weeks to sell my 2006 sg base , but the sesg was gone by then, i looked on ebay and found the same bike with less miles on it and three grand cheaper , so off we went on a 800 mile roadtrip to Jackson ms. and now its mine :orange:

Welcome Jeff!

Sorry you missed out on that bike.  But as much as we love them, there is always another one.  You will find one even more perfect for you.  Good luck!   :2vrolijk_21:

Well it has been a whirlwind of emotions since my first post 24 hours ago. I was as low as it gets finding out I would not be getting a 1400 mile nearly unused citrus CVO Street Glide. To its time to start looking hard on ebay and craigslist. Having a little luck. To once my wife comes home around 8 pm last night. She drops a bomb on me (in a good way). She says "how much more is a new one compared to the used one I was looking for?" I say maybe 5,000 not sure. Then she says, "Why don't you just get a new one?"  :bananarock: :bananarock:  God I love this woman!! So this morning I start my search. Initially not having any luck. I finally contact a dealer who would look up other dealers and he found 7 that currently have CVO street glides. Well make that 6 now. The first number I called was Bleu Bayou H-D in Monroe, LA. and low and behold they had a Ruby red / Typhoon maroon one on the floor ready to go. 1.5 hours later it is all settled all the way down to getting it registered here in Kentucky. It is a 9+ hour drive. Setting out at 11 pm on Friday hope to be back home in Morgantown, KY. by 10 pm Saturday night. The internet is amazing.

Take Care.

Cool!  Glad you got what you wanted (including a great wife)....now, while you are waiting for Friday to come this will give you some time to look for "accessories" to make the new bike truly "yours".
