Well it has been a whirlwind of emotions since my first post 24 hours ago. I was as low as it gets finding out I would not be getting a 1400 mile nearly unused citrus CVO Street Glide. To its time to start looking hard on ebay and craigslist. Having a little luck. To once my wife comes home around 8 pm last night. She drops a bomb on me (in a good way). She says "how much more is a new one compared to the used one I was looking for?" I say maybe 5,000 not sure. Then she says, "Why don't you just get a new one?"
God I love this woman!! So this morning I start my search. Initially not having any luck. I finally contact a dealer who would look up other dealers and he found 7 that currently have CVO street glides. Well make that 6 now. The first number I called was Bleu Bayou H-D in Monroe, LA. and low and behold they had a Ruby red / Typhoon maroon one on the floor ready to go. 1.5 hours later it is all settled all the way down to getting it registered here in Kentucky. It is a 9+ hour drive. Setting out at 11 pm on Friday hope to be back home in Morgantown, KY. by 10 pm Saturday night. The internet is amazing.
