goldiron,

I see that the engine guard mounted lights (rectangular) are "fog" lights.  How well do they light up the road in the distance?  [smiley=shocked2.gif]  I'm looking for something simular that would light up "deer eyes" at a greater distance.  [smiley=nervous.gif] Any ideas?

Thanks Goldiron, that's a good point on the side of the road coverage.  What high output headlight bulb are you using?

I thought I would mention that after the 05 clear headlight was installed I started getting an loud whistle from about 35 mph on up. I found out that the external trim ring was the culprit. Something in size diffrence of  05 headlamp. The whistle was coming from upper part of ring. I used masking tape to isolate the noise. A little strip of foam inside the top of the ring and my free deer whistle is gone.

Goldiron,

Did you tie the fog lights into the blank connector already supplied on the bike?  If you did, does this run the fog lights only when the headlight is on dim mode?   I would like to run the fogs when the headlight is on high beam, but don't want to manully switch them via the toggle switches near the steering head.  Thoughts?

Goldiron,

So is the right toggle switch controlling the blank white-ish 2-pin connector behind the headlight?  I assume you tied the fog lamps power into the switched hot wire.

Hey Zen,
The passing lamps will not interfere with the windshield that came on the '02SERK.
