I just checked on the SE 6 speed gear set and SE tranny side cover required.

Also I heard the baker 6 Speed Direct drive would get you 80 MPH at 2100 RPM and also 2800 RPM at 90 Mph so if your going to buy a whole new case spend the money on a Baker Direct Drive Gear 6 speed gear set and install that as the hours for labor are the same but you lower RPMs at a higher speed whihc would create better gas mieleage I woudl think.

Uhh...wrong...the Baker DD6 is a 1:1 in 6th gear which is the same as 5th in the SE 6sp.....to make it an overdrive you have to change the primary ratio.....this is what the MoCo has done with the 2007 bikes.....and they still don't come out the same as an SE 6sp.....GRC posted a graph showing the ratio results of the DD6 and a primary ratio change earlier in this thread.

Hate to bother everyone - but can someone give me a parts list so that I can get everything on order and scheduled for install this fall?

The 6-speed Hydralic cover, 6 speed gear set, anything else needed for an 06 CVO to be converted to a 6-Speed?

I had the 6-Speed tranny added before I picked up the bike.  I just got back from a 3800 mile trip to Sturgis, and the 6th gear was really nice to have, crossing the flat lands.  I could do about 80 and was only about 2800 RPM.  I paid about $3700 for the tranny installed, and it should be covered by the extended warranty.  I do have to downshift to pass or up a hill, but is sure runs smooth and quieter while in 6th.  I guess Harley thought it was a great idea too, or they wouldn't have added it to their '07 line up as standard ::)  I'd go for it [smiley=banana.gif]

I think I'm at least going to get a quote both ways, six speed tranny and adding the 6th gear.  It may be one of those winter projects.  It seems that the dealers get a little hungrier during the winter months and offer better deals on some modifications.

My wife and I are flying out to Vegas with another couple for a fly-n-ride the second week of October, so I won't make MV.  We had this trip planned before I got into this site.  I wish I had known about MV before planning the trip out west.  I appreciate the offer for the ride!

Since you are going to be in the primry you might as well swap out the inner primary for a chrome inner primary as the labor charge is the same. This is a mistake I made when I swaped my gear set out over the winter. Learn from others mistakes it saves you alot of cash.
