Or you could save a lot of time and energy and money and just learn to adjust the vents when you're sitting at a traffic light or during a gas stop.
How often do you really need to adjust your vents? I adjust mine roughly twice per year, open in late spring and close in late fall. I may close them in summer if I get caught in a rainstorm to help keep my feet dry, but since I try to avoid riding in the rain as much as possible, that doesn't happen very often.
If you want a project that would make more sense, figure out how to make the windshield height adjustable with the push of a button. Doing it the easy way by purchasing a Honda or BMW doesn't count.

IMHO, the last thing needed on a Harley is more poorly thought out and poorly executed electrical gadgets. At some point it makes more sense to just park the motorcycle and take the car or SUV. I remember when many of us didn't even want a radio on a bike to interfere with the man and machine experience. Now we have folks who want every creature comfort and convenience of their automobiles, and who bitch when it gets hot sitting in traffic. Maybe they should buy a nice convertible roadster instead (Boxster, Z4, Miata, etc.)?
