So I have read most of the posts and they seem related to liking this color or that color combo and whether the accessories "fit" the bike or not.

I guess I am wanting more from the CVO line in terms of design and engineering.  CVO's (to me) should be halo bikes, in much the same way the M series is to BMW and so on.  They should represent engineering and packaging achievements that will someday make their way down the line or be so exclusive as to differentiate the bikes from non-CVO Harleys.

A good example is the hydraulic clutch and 110 engine.  These are not available on non-CVOs and to my knowledge, cannot be easily duplicated without a lot of money in the aftermarket.  To get them, I must buy a CVO.  I bought my '12 Softail because the integration of the fairing/amplifier, throttle by wire and cruise on a Softail, and mini ape hangers were different than what was offered in the accessories catalog.  It's unique and worth the premium.

You know what would be new and exciting beyond a bronze tank badge that will probably fall off or be stolen, how about a fairing with something other than a DIN radio design from 1985.  Who the hell uses CD's on a motorcycle still?  Their bulky and inefficient relative to an Ipod Nano.  How about something with an integrated GPS, sat radio/MP3 player and a simpler way to consolidate all those damn air/oil temp and other gauges into a single interface (think Victory Cross Country)?  Why does a touring bike like the Road Glide still have its GPS hanging off the bar to get battered around or stolen?  Are you telling me there is not enough space in the sharknose fairing?  Bullchit!  How about pioneering a new batwing/sharknose fairing design on the CVO.  Then the bike would look and be really different.  The premiums these bikes demand should cover the added cost to design and produce this feature.

I love my bike, but if Harley wants my CVO money in the future, they will have to offer something other than a pretty color scheme.

I had not seen the new bikes till recently. I came upon the new  CVO RK at the dealer and thought it was some new Softtail. That is not a complement! I ride a nonCVO FLHRC and I am going to stay with it for now. In person the bike looks small and not suited for touring. Great town bike if that "windshield" was gone.

I am mostly glad there is no white SG for the wife to get hot about. No new bike this year for me. For those just getting into the CVO lineup if a color looks good to you go for it.

I traded my 2012 FLHRC for mine and it's an awesome ride.  Much better than my FLHRC.  Ride one and you'll be hooked too.   ;D

You traded a nonCVO 2012 for 2013 CVO Road King? How do you think the ride is better? I can understand the 110ci motor vs the 103ci but what else contributes to the better ride? Oh yes I saw your bike on the other thread.

You do realize you are riding the same frame.  The CVO may be lowered suspension making it "look smaller" to you.
It is good you like what you have.

As always, I find at least one color of each model worth purchasing, and will do so.

FLHRSE5 - Anniversary
FLTRXSE2 - Anniversary
FLHTCUSE8 - Undecided Color
Breakout - Black/Silver

No b****ing from me.  They're great!

A little bit of heat and a piece of thread and it would be off in no time.

Matches the tank though  ;)

Other than the bike Puzzled purchased....none of the paint schemes have caused my head to turn.

I have a big ass yawn for the whole CVO and regular line of MoCo this year...........I haven't picked up on any great innovations for the year which really surprised me, even after visiting 3 dealerships today while my recall and warranty items were taken care of.......especially in an anniversary year......
