Just got some new Freedom Performance true dual headers w/Outlaw slip on pipes for my new 2012 CVO RG in Reno. Was told to give ECM 300 miles to adapt but this has not happened. Its all over the place on start up and warm up and will dye 2-3 times before warm. Once warm, it does run fairly well. Had Freedoms put on my 08 FLHX has was very happy with them. Not so happy right now!
Live in California which sucks as far as laws go but laws are made to be broken. So cats are off. Buddies recommend Power Commander V (also illegal in this wonderful, over regulated, poorly managed state), which I will consider, vesus a SERT (also not street legal here). Just want to hear from others with 2012 110ci engines or any experts on what is working best. Seems the flash Freedom gave me is not right by any means. Is a PCV w/auto tuner ideal for this bike?
I know everyone has an opinion/preference, just looking for what is performing best with similar owners. Thanks All
