Thank you both!! Tin, I was going to get the blue but the dealer mentioned they had a red one coming in any day, so I put a few dollars down to hold that one and if I didn't like the red I could pass on it and wait for the blue one to come in sometime in December, well........one look at the red one and I was in trouble. I bet that blue bike you have must also be just STUNNING. Is it me or does CVO paint work get better all the time? Wow. Ultimate rider 1 thanks for the welcome, it's appreciated!! Thanks for the kind words about the Super Glide Custom, it's a blast to ride!! All the best!! Mike

they're both great colors.  i like them better than the anniversary colors.  amazing ride too.

Congratulations! What a great choice of bikes! After seeing your color in person, it looks even better than your pictures. Can't wait for mine.

Congrats on your new scoot.  Greaaaaat color choice too.  I picked  up my burgundy blaze on Sept 28th and absolutely love it.  I have a 30" imseam and find the height to be great.  You can try the hd premium front suspension, it will lower the bike about 1/2" in the front.  If you think iit rides nice now, try that upgrade and you will think you are riding a different bike.  I had the premium front and rear on my last bike and it rode fantastic.  Their are also great reviews on the progressive drop in front too.  They can also be set to lower the front.

Well......sort of. From the HD website, the laden seat heights are 26.7 for the Road King and Road King Classic vs. 26.5 for the CVO RK.

Thanks, it's funny I've narrowed my choices down to those two seat makers, today i called Corbin to ask a few questions, they are sending me a few sample to look over, they can not make a seat for me yet because they don't know if there were any changes on the 2013 bikes, does anyone have any info concerning that? I assume their has been no change since 2009 correct? Corbins "close" seat should get me lower and closer, this seat change should allow me to avoid any suspension changes. I'm also going to find some boots with a thinker sole. Thanks again for all the great input and welcomes!! This is a great forum!! Mike

Saw a blue one of these at Twin Cities HD south yesterday. Looked real nice. Red is the faster color of course but it looked real nice.

DynaMike, very nice looking RK.  The Red just jumps out at ya.  The Dyna is a very sharp ride as well.  This means you will have more fun by determining what you will ride for the day.  I swapped my stock seat for a Mustang. I found the Corbin to be a bit stiff for my cheeks.  Both Corbin and Mustang make a very fine product and you may want to give each a call.  I found both companies to be very helpful on the phone. Good Luck, and have fun.

Great Looking Bike. Love the Blue, but the Red is my favorate. I sure does look great in the sun. This CVO is a crowd attractor. I have people coming up all the time to get a good look.
