Screamin08, I am not having any issues with the stock lighting on my 09, but I would like to suggest that before putting out a lot for a new light make sure the original is adjusted corrrectly. I believe the instructions are in the owner's manual. Both new HD's I have purchase have been delivered to me with the headlight pointing down too far. I marked the garage floor at the required distance put some tape on the inside of the garage door and when I made the adjustment as per the instructions it made a big difference. I do a lot of night riding even when on  vacation and I don't feel as though I need any more light than I already have. JMHO. CAHDBIKER

I wonder how one of those old brass headlamps would look on your bike, you know the one where you put carbide in a chamber and water in another to produce a gas flame in front of a polished reflector?
