Hey Guys,
 I found a 05 SEEG local to me. The guy is asking 9,000.00 for it. It has 33,000 miles on it.
Is there anything special I need to look out for on this model? This bike has the 103 I believe.
I am out of town and going to have my wife and son go take a look at it. The pictures I got of it are not real good, maybe a crappy cell phone pics.
It looks like it is pretty dirty though. My wife has a eagle eye for imperfections so that part I know she will look over good. Just don't know if anything else needs to be given more attention. It always seems like good deals come up when I am out working. Guy says the color is Dark Cherry and light Cherry.
 I appreciate any wisdom and advice.

I would make sure it does not have a salvage title.  Or rode hard and put away wet if you know what I mean.
9000.00 seems to be a low price to me for that bike so I would won't to make sure that everything is on the up and up.

Sounds like it would have a salvage title for sure.  That is very low.   Something has to beup with that bike.   I would check into more that just what you can see.

I agree. My son is there looking at it so maybe I will know something soon.
 So far the guy has been honest.
 Hate to pass up this if it is genuine.

Ok a little more info now.
 The guy dropped the bike at slow speed on the right side. Small spot on the outer fairing is down to the primer, crash bar is scratched up some and a couple of rashes on the right saddlebag. Has true duals on it,sounds good, good oil pressure, trans shifts smooth. Right pipe has a little bit of scratches on it. The crash bar and possibly right side lower will need to be replaced and re paint the front fairing and right saddlebag lid. He is pretty firm at 9k. He owes that at the bank. He is the second owner. Says he has the gold key but no cover. Has owners manual too. Also 2 key fobs.
 What do you guys think?
 I value your opinion. Is it a perfect bike? No, but with a little work it can be a great CVO. It will be rode anyway, so a few scratches I can live with.  I do not know if a painted outer fairing is even available anymore for this. May have to find a painter to match the paint. I would like to maybe get this so my son and daughter in law can ride more with BSR and I.

Sounds like an easy fix, or a pretty nice rider.  "It will be rode anyway, so a few scratches I can live with".

Ride it or fix it for a few grand.

Doesn't sound like you can get hurt as long as it has a clear title.

Looks and sounds like a SUPER deal. Shouldnt take much $$$ to make it right. If you don't buy it, I have someone who will.

I am going to buy it. The title is at his bank and I can not see it right now. I have a good friend of my Dad's that is the president of a bank local to me. He said that we can do it through him so that we can find out if the title is good and not a salvage title. I do not have to finance the bike, but the seller does not have to know that. My friend will be able to contact the sellers bank and find out about the title for sure. I do not know another way to make sure that it is not a salvage title.
 My son rode it. He said it ran and drove great. New battery 2 months ago, new rear tire. All service records back to 10,000 miles. It has right at 33,000 on it now. He did not have the original owners records. My son said that it will need a new crash bar because it is scratched up pretty good. It was not clean at all. It will be Monday before we can find out for sure about the title.
 I appreciate the advice. I have some pictures of it my son took. I will post them up shortly.
