my dealer just received #244 of 900 anni.SERG they offerd me a trade  2k plus my 2013 SERG . what would you do? they sold me the (old) one for msrp so its not that bad a deal? stuck on the fence,need some input/advice.

Quite honestly... your bike, your money, your decision.... Some questions you may want to ask yourself are... How bad do you want the Annie??... How much do you like your current bike??... Any mods done to your current bike that will be taken off (you returning current bike back to stock before trade)??

If you've got several miles on your current SERG, then I would trade in a heart beat.  That's not much depreciation.  Of course keep all mods and restore current bike to stock.

You couldnt add those to your existing bike for that.

If you like the color better, do it.  But the anni models are not worth any more than the others, and will not hold their value any better, or be worth more down the road.  It doesn't matter if it's numbered or not, it's still just another CVO RG.  So the only real reason would be for the looks of the bike.

Is a numbered badge worth 2k? For me me, no it wouldn't be. The only reason I would do the deal is if I absolutely had to have the anniversary model - then to hell with the cost or what anybody else thought. You need to decide for yourself and only you have the answer.

Personally I really like the colour your current ride... It is unique to your specific model unlike the Anny used on different models, so there will be fewer of your colour you will see around.  Just something to consider.

I am a bit confused though... I have not seen one in person yet and the picture you've posted looks like your bike is more of a brown/beige colour rather than the green/beige colour as advertised on the website

I realize that things on the web can be a little different in person, but that is a HUGE difference to me.

I do really like the look of your bike and I certainly would not be trading and paying more for the Anny.  But that's me.

As someone else said "your bike, your money".

Still can't believe the difference.  I thought my dealer was just "pulling my leg" when he said there was no green on the bike at all.  I guess he was right.

When all said and done there may be fewer of your current color made than the 900 anniversary bikes! But if it's a color you really want, you're only down a grand as the anniversary is a $1000 more MSRP! Either way I say you're a winner as both the Anniversary and yours look great! Good luck on your decision, let us know which you go.

I wouldn't do it.  Your bike is the one color that I like in the CVO RG this year.  Your Anniversary RG will look like the other anniversary models.  Keep the one you have now.  It's unique.
