I've never understood wanting to move it once it's set, either. I was almost talked into the Kury one by the dealer, but couldn't get past all the favorable comments about the GA piece ringing in my ear. Glad I got it. Set it and forget it. Nice, solid piece.
Most of the time, yes. When my 10 year old grandson comes to town, I have to move the TP forward for him. Otherwise, I agree. I had the Anderson relocator on my CUSE4, and moved it to my CUSE8. Still looked new! I had no one to help, so I removed from the old & installed on the new in about 30 minutes total time.
My wife is not big, and she was good with the 1.5 setting on the CUSE4. However, the space lost with the lumbar support pushed her over the edge, so I moved the TP out to the full 2.5." She is happy once more, and with the fuller apron, you really can't see the fender behind the seat anyway.
I am not much of a hands on person, so it has to be easy. So far, all of the vendors on this site that I have used have great service, and will talk you through any problems (Fullsac, Anderson, and Jim Bissonette, come to mind). I even called George Anderson up to make sure that his relocator would fit on the CUSE8, and he told me not to waste my money on a new one, because the old one would work fine. Who does that these days? Great guy.
