I have a small tear drop shape bubble on my fairing, right above the lights. Cant get a good picture because of the reflection. Just wondering if anybody else has any problems with their paint job. 2013 CVO RG anny.

Your dealer will have some pages in a binder that outline the parameters of what constitutes what a flaw is and isn't. I was somewhat disappointed that the small flaw on my TP was not big enough. Good luck!

I would think that a bubble would be covered under the factory warranty. Kinda hard to make a bubble thru wear and abuse.

Swing by a dealership and have them take a look. As others have said there is an "allowable" amount of defects they let through, no different than the auto industry.

If my memory serves me right the defect must be visible frolm at least 5 ft away under normal lighting conditions? May not be exact but pretty sure it's 5ft.

That is good news. The wait will be awhile as I waited very close to 6 weeks for my painted parts, be patient.  :2vrolijk_21:

I have a small imperfection on the edge of the tour pac lid. Can only notice it in bright sunlight. Man O War Harley has me a new one on order. They are usually good to deal with.

I have a 2009 Springer CVO and got some rust spots in the clear metal portions of the paint (these were very small).  The dealership took pictures then contacted the moco who said "no."  So I called their customer service line and Calmly explained that this was my 4th new HD, I even bought the extended warranty, and paid a lot of money for a premium model ride.  The lady asked me to take pictures and email them to her.  2 days later she emailed me back authorization for the repair.  The moco had me schedule the repair through the dealer and mailed them the parts directly.  The cost to me was $100 per part replace (headlight bucket and rear fender).  Overall I was pleased with the end result.  I would suggest calling customer service and explaining your case, and remember you catch more flies with honey...Good luck!

I had a problem with a decal pen stripe on a fairing on an 03 anniversary model. The pinstripe overlapped itself by 1/8 inch.  Dealer replace it, took 3 months to get the fairing though.

With any painted product, HD runs a color in batches. So if your bike is not black or white, you will most likely wait a bit longer for that color run. Not sure how that works with the limited CVO paint schemes.

Is that the Ft Myrs dealership? That is helping you with the paint issue?

From what I have noticed, it seems like the MoCo has no problem telling the dealer to tell the customer "no" but can't say the same words when they are dealing directly with the owners.
