Hello from California!

Hello!  I'm a new 1st time Harley owner and I'm LOVING it so far.   :-*.  Unfortunately, it's been cold and wet so I haven't had a chance to ride as much as I want. 

I'm looking forward to learning more about this bike and seeing what others have done.

Welcome aboard from Minnesota! Glad you've joined the fun. Congrats on the new scoot! From a Minnesotan's standpoint, if it's still wet, it's not cold. Cold means snow & ice. Just depends on what you are used to I guess. You'll probably be able to get out riding soon. Up here, not so much.

Enjoy the "cold"!

Yes, being from "sunny" California, my definition of wet and cold is probably different than someone from Minnesota. Lol.  You'd probably find it perfectly acceptable riding conditions.  ;D.  Though I did ride yesterday with temps in the 30's and black ice conditions..no wet, just COLD! 

I'm in Concord, CA, though originally from Southern Calif.  Grew up in the Westside of L.A. so I know Santa Monica very well, worked in SM through my college days. :).

Welcome to the board.....there were a number of Nor Cal members (Sacramento, Fairfield, east bay, Hilmar, etc.) at the Easyrirders bike show yesterday.  If you'd have posted sooner, you'd have been able to meet a few members from this forum.  They get together and ride.....ride local (Nor Cal) or across this country together.  Hook up with em....get to know em.  :2vrolijk_21:

Gerbing eXtreme Element pants, jacket, boot insoles and gloves will take care of the rain and cold issues.  We've rode all the way down to 18F in the Gerbing gear and were totally comfortable.....and it works as your rain suit, too.
