I just put a RB Racing Pro Stock Spyder on my FLSTSE2.  I didn't notice any loss in torque, but I don't lug the motor below 2,000-2,200.  I'm about to pull the top end apart (if my flywheel run out is acceptable) and send the heads off to Hillside for their treatment along with pistons and a set of Woods 9F cams.  Based on my build, I felt that it was either the Boarzilla or the RB, and I didn't like the upswept design on the Boarzilla muffler.  I really like the horizontal orientation of the merge collector that RB uses; it's sick looking.  Below is a video of the bike idling, but I'll hopefully have a video of the exhaust riding right before I tear into it.  It is getting deeper than the video shows due to the carbon buildup, and is loosing some of the higher pitch tones.  Under 3,000 rpm it sounds nice and deep.  Above 3,000 it gets an angry growl to it that I wouldn't have expected from a Harley.  Hopefully I get it on video next weekend.

That RB sounds great! I'd consider one of their 2-1's for my SERG, except they don't make ghost pipes and probably never will.

I've emailed D&D before and found they usually respond quickly. From reading RB's website, I'm guessing they aren't that keen on customer service, although I have no experience with them.

If you want a top notch 2-1 pipe and the best customer service, contact Frank Drago at Drago's Performance. Just google his exhaust systems (Dragula and S/C/S-4), and you'll read nothing but the highest praise about him and his pipes- great quality and performance, plus they are ceramic coated (a plus in the Dubai heat  :divers009:). Frank is a forum sponsor here and on the RG forum, and offers discounts (see the Vendor section).

If I ever go 2-1, it will definitely be a Drago's.

Btw, are you from Dubai originally or are you an American that works there? (if you don't mind me asking).

I have an uncle there- my Dad and I went over there a few years back- interesting place, but not much character IMO. Over the top- in a way it reminds me of Vegas minus the booze and casinos, lol.

Hi North Star,

Originally from the UK, have been living/working in Dubai for just over 8 years,
Dubai is a lot better now than it was a few years ago! a few years ago it was just a building site but is now starting to find its identity,
For riding its great, we get a couple of days rain per year, t shirt in the summer and a shirt in the winter, half an hour out of Dubai and you hit the mountain roads,

And , we do have the Booze, drinking is heavier here than in the UK!

Yes Really, i tend to do all my initial enquiries by email when dealing with vendors in the states, being over hear in Dubai there is a 12 hour time difference that makes things tricky! it also cost nearly $3 a minute to call so like to get as much info as possible before calling!

Thanks for your advise, i am contacting D&D and RB to check availability/shipping costs etc. you guys in the States dont realise how lucky you are! i have to ship everything and its very costly!!!
See if you can get me the video (riding) to check out the sound at 3 to 5k revs!
Thanks,

I'll try and get that video this weekend.  One note with RB Racing...their customer service is good, but not great.  They do not carry inventory as each exhaust system is made to order.  Plan on waiting 4 weeks or so to have the pipe made.  There is pros and cons to every vendor, so I'm just laying RB Racing's out on the table.

I got a couple more videos before I tore my motor apart today.  It was hard to get the mic protected from the wind, so the sound could be better.

Sounds great, love how deep it is, you can tell its not just load and its real performance,
What you going to do when you open up the engine?
Did you get it on the dyno before before you open her up?
What are you looking for with the engine mods?
Thanks,

Trying to find a balance with whats high performance, quality and still looks good!

The fat Cat low looks nice and the same spec/performance, will contact D & D today

Not bothered about the flat screen tuner!!! just want something thats high quality/low maintenance and does what it says on the wrapper! any advice would be appreciated,

Something else to think about with HiPo.
Do you want Jogn Deere Tractor Pulling Torque Numbers or Big Horsepower Numbers?

Bassani RR long + Nightrider FL XiED's  Strong bottom end, plenty fast 125 mph by the gps. still gets 42 - 48 mpg.

IMHO

Beautiful bike!
