Don,  looks super sweet! And I'll bet you can really tell the difference with the new front end mounting.
With the ribbing on the fuel line, I was wondering how long you were going to tolerate the chrome horn cover with a complete lack of red accents? I don't know about anyone else but it irks the hell out of me...  [smiley=cherry.gif] [smiley=soapbox.gif] [smiley=cherry.gif]

Twolanerider: I have enjoyed reading about your journey and subsequently informed Zippers that I desired the "show cut" option for my own wrinkle black heads and cylinders.  As you might imagine, the job was not originally ordered that way and if not for your posting I would not have known to ask.  Thanks!

True. That is why it has gotten down to being nit-picky. You know like telling him he needs pinstripes on the horn, why didn't he get red plug wires, what happened to the chrome fuel line, and he has finger prints on the rocker box covers. The last three were explained in his posts, and I would dare say if he does decide the horn cover needs the stripes he will git

The real funny thing there D00d is that we really don't need to get all that nit-picky.  Just find all the divots in the fairing and there is plenty to rag on.  Those just show it gets ridden though.  So they count as "character marks"  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] .

Exactly, and those are to be expected.  The only way to avoid them is not to ride it, and what fun would that be. NONE!!!

Twolanerider - The downtime is acceptable as work related travel has kept me unavailable for most riding anyway.  The extra wait for Diamond Heads work is not an issue as I am still awaiting the release of a 4 1/2" crank from S&S for the '07 motor. It is scheduled for delivery to Zippers at the end of the week.  Goal is to have everything back together by Christmas.  I'll be surprised if there are not other delays before it is completed, but I am confident that it will make it for the start of the '07 riding season.

OK OK Chip I will post some pics tomorrow as I am a firemannnnn today. I know some people will forget Punkin. Hell it has been sitting in the garage with no time to ride. I almost forgot about the bike.

For those of you looking I have a set of trick heads and 103 +oo5 cylinders and 10.5 to 1 pistons for sale in silver that have been DIAMOND CUT.  They all have been machined and are ready to go. I have had them sitting around for over a year now.

The price is less than a MILLION. PM for specs and pricing as I no longer have a need for them. Unless "V" chimes in here real quick and decides she wants Punkin number 2. If that is the case the cylinders, heads ect will go on my soon to be brides RIDE!!!!!!
