Hey Chrome

I'm riding the Breakout to Rome from UK in June with probably V&H 2-2 fitted. I hear the Swiss ploice are coming down hard on bikes with loud exhausts is that right ?

Not to offend anyone but all that electronic crap hanging on the handle bars of a clean bike like the Breakout looks like chit.  JMHO

dlaw - you aint wrong I am not happy with the mount and I dont like the HD one. For me it needs a mount low down on the bars but I may change the bars yet as I'm short in the arms so get a bit of lower back ache after 200 miles today. Still makes me grin though

Hi Dell boy

Cool, maybe we see each other in Rom. :-) Thanks for your pictures. :-)

Hmm, I love the V&H 2-2 and I would definitely go for this one, if it would be allowed in Switzerland. I would not suggest you to pass CH with the V&H 2-2, since the police could confiscated your bike, if you get in a police control.

@all:
I tend to go for a Lifeproof case for an iPhone (http://www.lifeproof.com). I will only mount the GPS, if I need it. In general I'll have the bike as clean as possible. ;-)

Cheers!

@Dell Boy:
Thanks for the picture regarding your Kuryakin GPS mount. :)

To bad, that the Garmin cradle isn't available in chrome. I'm looking for a chrome mount system or a completely removable one.

Hey, I like your bike. The color is just awesome!

Do you mean a custom made cover or is there a chrome cover available for the Garmin GPS somewhere?

Everyone has their own definition of ugly.  I MUCH prefer the RAM mount to that, personally.

For those of you that have gone with the Garmin on the Breakout, do you have Bluetooth headsets to pair to the Garmin so you can hear?
