Maybe there is going to be a NON CVO Breakout.....

My friend sent me this pic....



It says, "Introducing Breakout" on it.  It has the same rear fender and a lot of similar features.

Funny you should mention this.
I was at my local Harley dealer today and heard this same rumor.

He said it will be announced at Daytona. 2013 1/2 non CVO Breakout with 103 motor.
He said he wasn't sure if the name would be the same or not.

Why Not ?   It's all about $Money$   Just like Auto's You have top of the line and then you have the basic model.

From what I hear ....   people were excited and pre-ordered but not everyone picked them up when they came in

for what ever reason   :nixweiss:  I Do like the CVO break-out   :2vrolijk_21:

              There are People who don't  want the CVO model   ;)

I agree, not everyone wants a CVO! they would rather spend thousands on mods and still end up with a lesser bike! better to buy the CVO, spend thousands on mods and end up with a aw some bike!!!

If this picture is accurate, it has some of the basic Breakout looks, but without the paint and wheels then it doesn't come close.  I guess I'm still slightly upset they appear to be making a non-cvo model, but like someone else mentioned, all the other CVO models have non-cvo lines as well.  Just decreases the uniqueness slightly.

Funny!

I have had mine for 4 months now, and the exhaust and fuel management are the only mods I have made, and I feel the bike is complete now....no upgrade-itis beyond that for me.    HD put this bike together exactly like I wanted it....

I think they should do it to get a "real" Softail back in the standard production lineup-i.e., one with footpegs instead of footboards....Softails were not invisioned as being touring bikes...no footboards allowed   :P

that would have been a deal-breaker for me.  If the Breakout came with footboards, like virtually all of the Softails do nowadays, it would not be in my garage.

I din't think the CVO breakout was selling that good. Let alone a non CVO breakout. I really didn't care for it any way.

its a definite.  i just got an email from my dealer saying that they will be having the 2013.5 breakout 'in just a few days'.....

course without the cvo paint job, it just look anywhere near as cool.....
