I traded my 2011 Limited on My CVO Road Glide.  In doing this I gave up the comm between me and my passenger.  I run the older style (3 years old) Harley 660 Garmin HD Edition.  Can anyone recommend a good quality blue tooth head set?  I have read the reviews on a bunch.  Still confused on what will work the best.  We both wear 3/4 helmets.  Help!!

The Cardo sets work real good for comms, not so much for music if that is your goal.

When Bluetooth devices are able to link to a CB radio is when I'll invest in one.  Otherwise, we'll remain tethered to the bike. For some reason that technology has not been offered yet.  Waiting...

They've had CB radios with bluetooth capability for awhile, but more to use the CB to talk on the phone than to attach a headset.

Anyone have info on the Scala brand

We have been using the Scala brand for about five years. The only problem ever was the original mics failed, they had been updated and Scala rep replaced both of them at Bikeweek (in the Helmet Shop). We have the Tandem Pro's, I am not sure they still sell this model, it is intercom only (no ability to talk to other bikes and has only bluetooth range, about 33 feet). We wear modular helmets and the Scala works great. I originally bought them to also use with the GPS but disabled the connection as it was irritating to me, everytime we started a conversation it would interupt with a command, then you have a specified amount of seconds before intercom returns, we just did not like this, I have no problem just glancing at the GPS every once in awhile and do not miss the voice commands. When fully charged they stay up for days if you use the VOX, if you bypass the VOX they have to be recharged every couple days. Good product.

I see they have a kit to use with half hats. Around 60-70 bucks for each kit. Has anyone used these? All we need is intercom for long trips.

I ran the Scala Rider G4 for awhile and really liked them. On bike Comm was great and both of them linked them via blue tooth to our cells. I didnt use my phone much but did take a few calls from my boss while he thought I was working and the noise cancelling mike did such a great job he never knew i was on the bike .

I have been looking at the Scala and the Chatter Box.  The problem is that the reviews are all over the place on both.  I think this is going to be a trial and error thing.

Have you looked into the SENA 10 Bluetooth?  I have no experience but I am interested too.  I will watching this thread and see what you decide on.

Just checked out the Sena 10.  What do ya think with it being just water resistant?
