Thanks all for the warm welcome. This is a GREAT SITE. I will be making a donation soon...The "Boss" says my "Dream Bike Budget" is tapped out right now..."OVER TAPPED OUT", were her words. I'm glad the "CFO" keeps tabs on me, though...Otherwise we'd be livin' in a Whirlpool Refrigerator Box under I-95. It's been quite a journey to acquire my "basically brand new" 2001 CVO WG2. I've been buying "NEW-OLD STOCK" obsolete parts from various H-D dealers from around the world (as well as a few things on eBay) for her for over a year, now...and just got the bike last month. I almost bought one with 11,000 miles 2 months ago (lost my $500 deposit), but something just told me that I'm gonna' find something better....His didn't have the little "headlamp visor" (bikini fairing), and had some other mods that I would have had to deal with. I wanted her to at least look bone "OEM".

One corner of my mancave looks like an FXDWG2 parts warehouse....but my wallet looks like an abandon piece of leather. I stayed up ALL NIGHT last night...still haven't been to bed.

There's not a chance in the world I'd EVER make the mistake of giving up my "mistress" again. She just means soooo much to me now. I've learned a very valuable lesson over the last several years.

Welcome to the site from the hills of East Tennessee.  I have to tell you, I've enjoyed reading this "New Member Introduction" more than any other in recent memory.  Your story is great as you had your love, you sold your love and spent quite a while looking for her again....found her and are now living happily ever after.  Congrats to you on that.  Also sounds like you will have a stronger heart back in her in the next couple days so good luck on that, too.
It's a great site with just about everything you need (and some things you didn't realize you did) related to the CVO models.  Can't wait to see the continuing story as your adventure continues.

Enjoy the site, that new-to-you Switchback and keep her between the ditches... :bananarock:
