SESG12, here are some additional pics from my install. I was going to use Gunslingers since they had done other work for me, but they were months out on customer bikes. My local painter is a darn perfectionist, so it worked out. I'm glad to have worked with him on this project. I bought my fender on eBay from Riders Discount. Don't forget, you'll also need the spacer blocks because the fender mount is narrower. The stocker mounts flare out to attach to the forks. I also got those from the same seller as well.
And yes, to get a good match, you'll want to send your stock fender back as well for comparison. Gunslinger has openings available now. They've been calling me to bring in my Road Glide pieces, but as I mentioned, I found a different painter who is also local. Gunslingers is about 75 minutes north of me...
The lift is a J&S Jack. It's American made and solid as a rock. I used to have/use a yellow Sears jack and it was quite wobbly. The J&S is awesome. You can climb up and sit on the bike while it's on there, and no need to strap it down. Plus, it wheels easy across the floor. It's a foot pumper, but they also have an air model too. The foot pumper is less expensive, plus I wouldn't want to have to fill my compressor each time I jacked the bike up.
