I couldn't agree more, That would be this one.
Oh BTW the info on the sheet is wrong
It is V&H power duals and Crusher Mufflers, Genesis cam, my Street Pro heads.
Compression is 10.0:1 CCP 195
Sorry I do not have SAE, Maybe Bob will chime in and post that. He told me conditions that day were very hot and humid.

Just to set the record straight Fullsac had the ''XD'' pipe months before fuelmoto.....seems as if fuel moto is always a few months behind on pipe designs.....makes ya think huh....lol
Doc

Doc,

Would V&H have been the first X pipe entry with their Power Duals back 2008 or 2009?

I'm not talking about the pipe Doc. just the under the frame cross over.  I had the x pipe before everyone started to sing it's praise and I still do. I just couldn't see spending another 479.00 for the DX.

That's a question for Steve...I don't know when Fullsac first came out with the pipe but I know he had it before fuelmoto

So you're saying fuelmoto sells a round pipe under the frame to fit their old x pipe? If so what is the diameter, 1.5''?

The cam used was the Genesis
We had planned to use a 57 but Bob decided to use the other.

Doc, yes, They have a "Full size round under chassis crossover pipe". Jackpot Full size X-over kit (FM-14-X0) 119.00. You can see a good picture on their site, just search X-over. I don't know the diameter of the pipe but I removed the under chassis squish pipe from H/D and replaced it with the full round X-over ( seems like they would call it the X-under). Also to keep things straight, I bought my X pipe from Steve in June 2011, at that time I had no idea that the H/D pipe was squished until installation of the new pipe.  I called Steve back then and ASKED if there was a replacement for the squish or could he make me one.  Alice got back to me and told me that they had tried that and  there was absolutely NO Dyno increase or advantage in HP or TQ by doing that.  Well two years later  Hmmm.. Maybe its just his pipe that works and the round under replacement doesn't?? When I make my next change with heads and pistons I'll run a base but I'm not going to spend 300.00 to Dyno just for that under pipe and see if it did or didn't do anything.   Thanks

Maybe HD made that piece a squish pipe for a reason- I'm thinking by restricting flow to the left side, the pipe acts more like a 2-1.

And yes, I remember that too- Fullsac used to say how sick they were of people asking, "why not make the squish pipe round?", and how there was no advantage. I guess like you say, maybe it's the total package of the new header pipe and the round pipe that works? I don't know.... :nixweiss:

I wouldn't change your set up and re-dyno either just for the sake of the new header pipe. Would not be worth it.

I can say without a doubt that the crushed crossover was done at HD to meet the Min. ground clearance that they require. The round pipe looses ground clearance plain and simple, is it too much, well that's up to you. What I can also tell you is that a 96, 103 or 110 in stock engine trim with just the xpipe, cored mufflers and Air cleaner gains NADA with the full size crossover. On a modified engine I cannot say what it will or will not do.

Actually it is the Genesis 577 cam D & D Fat Cat 2-1 Pipe, with their Performance Wrapped Baffle, Dons Heads, SE Heavy Breather, 58 MM T/B & Power Vision Tuner :)
