We were one of the first shops in the country to bore the OEM cylinder to 98" starting back in 2006.
Very seldom do we ever bore to 95" anymore.
Must have over at least 100 or more, 98, and 107"ers rolling around now. We have a proprietary piston/gasket kit manufactured/supplied to us thru Wiseco.
Same/same for the 107"ers.
Simple staightforward boring/torque honing.
Thayers Sales & Service, Corfu N.Y. has tuned one of little 98"s, using an Andrews 37, Bub, 2/1, our heads, 10.0 cr.
108 hp/111 ft/lbs.
That particular bike has well over 30,000 on it, and a PA-based shop has tuned our higher out-put 98"ers rolling off at 120 hp..........that bike has been driven to Sturgis, from Eastern PA twice.
Nothing to it.
