Wonder if they go after the lifter vendor for the cost of the replacement motor?!

They'd have to accept YEN as payment     :huepfenlol2:

By the way glad it's working out for you Jerry  :2vrolijk_21:

Nice to hear the MoCo is doing the right thing.  I am sure it is because it is a good dealer that pushed for it.

Where in MI you headed?  I am headed up for Bike Times in Muskegon 3rd week end in July.

Originally from Battle Creek, 32 years ago, left at 18.

If it's anything like the way the auto folks do it, it all depends on the original price negotiations and terms of the contract.  Some first tier suppliers in the auto business are in fact held accountable for at least some warranty costs.  If Delphi is a first tier Harley supplier, perhaps they are on the hook for some of the costs.   :nixweiss:

Saw some photos on facebook today of Jerry (Ultrafxr) with a repaired bike loaded into his trailer and a big smile on his face!   :2vrolijk_21:

Mailing my H.O.G. mileage form for my 200,000 mile rocker today.  Would have 250,000 if I'd known about the mileage program sooner and that doesn't count the thousands of miles on metrics before I ever got a Harley.
