Howard, You and your friend standing together and waving in your pictures remind me of Barney and Fred Flintstone!   :P.  Say hello to Vicki.., she looks like she is having a great time!   :2vrolijk_21:  Beautiful countryside!  Thank you for posting.

HOME!  We had quite a trip. Got home about 6 last night after 3800 miles in 11 days. Not too shabby and we all had a great time. LOTS of pics to come on another thread. Have a few to post to complete this one.
Saturday was Hisega lodge to council bluffs, IA. 550 miles and 400 of it in rain. Had a major storm through Sioux City with baseball size hail. We missed the hail but did get in the rain.
Sunday was better to Mount Vernon, IL but the traffic on 70 through Missouri was brutal. Dem people DO NOT know how to drive. Had two wrecks right in front of us with one of them two cars in front-saw it all. Vickie was ready to get out of there and so was I.  No rain, however
Monday home. The weather through Tennessee looked bad but we only had a few sprinkles around Nashville.
Great time. Nothing like a vacation with 500,000 of your close friends!
Vickie, Rick and I say hi and hope you enjoyed the ride story

Oh yeah, Ginger has a new look. Picked this up at the Kuryakyn tent at exit 55 at rapid city HD. Sure makes the night driving much better. With Rick's daymakers shining behind me, I could not see my stock light. Thought about the day maker but saved a couple hundred with the truck light. Very nice change and glad I did it

And, saw these at the dealer in Paducah. First is a convertible with bags and faring. Not too shabby

Rode home from Sturgis Saturday as well 650 miles. Never got wet, got to Murdo and the roads were soaked and nothing but black ahead on I-90 so we ran 83 south to 44 east, took east all the way to I 29 with intentions of running that south to Sioux City but the sky was black. Pulled up the radar, HUGE red and yellow storm over Sioux City moving NE towards us. Ran east on Hwy 18 to Spencer, IA then took 4 south and outran the storm. Made it home dry but it took a cpl extra hours due to running below or away from the storms. Glad you had a good trip and made it home safe.
