Stu is right. We have been blessed to enjoy lots of travel throughout the year (some work/some play) and without a doubt Sturgis is the top trip? After 2 days riding out my head starts to clear out and the rest is just gravy. I had 200+ emails when I returned which showed me I wasn't on my phone or iPad which could be a reason? But careless days, great rides, great fellowship with friends, etc... just a great trip. You "HAVE" to plan Sturgis it seems to me if you wait til the last minute you can forget it without some stress. We met people who hotel hopped everyday because they didn't plan? Not for me but each to his own. We now are looking at planning another route and take in Yellowstone for a few days then back around towards the Black Hills? We talked to people who did the fly in ride through Denver rented bikes and took in Colorado up to the Black Hills and back to Denver to fly home? One thing we did this year is we shipped 2 boxes of clothes up to the hotel from my office ($26) and once we arrived swapped dirty clothes for clean clothes and shipped the boxes back having to load almost nothing for the 1,500 mile ride. You ride and learn. Tannehill your correct I've always said "we are all around each other" and don't know it? We stayed at the hotel that the Hamsters stay at and every evening they seem to get together as a group? Maybe we could do the same at least one night and have a group dinner. A national/annual GTG?
