scottt,

your post showing the wallet card is the procedure for entering the pin to override the security, not to change it.

your scan showing the procedure to change the pin, clearly states 'with assigned fob present', so if you are able to change the pin without the fob present, then there is definitely something wrong.  if so, then like i mentioned earlier, i could easily steal your bike simply by changing the code.

i notice that to change, you don't need to press the left turn  signal 3 times, only 2 now.

Thank you, the wallet card makes sense. I don't get the fob issue.

When looking at & test riding a '14, I asked the sales dummy and he said the FOB had to be present for the on-off-on and then out of range to do the actual change. If true, this is a numskulled idea but sounds about par for the MoCo.  :nixweiss:

I agree it's nuts but that is exactly how I got mine to work, would have never figured it out without the previous posting on this site with those instructions. It does not tell you that in the owners manual.

Okay I got the owners manual - here goes.

1. With Programmed FOB present turn ignition switch on.
2. cycle ignition switch OFF/ON/OFF/ON
3. press LEFT turn signal 2 times.
4. Press Right Turn signal 1 time.
Your current PIN will come up blinking -
5. Press left blinker to get the Number you want.
6. Press right blinker to move to the next number and then the left to change it too what you wanted.

I hope this helps - all -  :orange:

thanks for posting that.  it is very similar to the 13 and below procedure, but not exact.  and we all know that that one little change will mess you up  :cucumber:
