The wife and I always ride 2-up. My MPG is fully dependent on how hard I twist the throttle.

Just putting around back roads etc I get about 48 MPG. Riding with my real slow friends I've gotten as high as 52 MPG. Ripping it around I get about 32MPG. Highway at 75 MPH I get about 38-40 MPG.

My normal riding is about 42-44 MPG.

I suppose if I really am careful about MPG I would get 50 MPG but how fun would that be.  ;)

As I found out this past weekend, mpg falls off noticeably when you open it up.  I dropped to 41mpg while cruising single at 75-85 for most of the trip.  I had some concern that my original SERT tune my have been off, but I'm starting to think that he mapped it pretty close.  Just have to moderate the throttle--and carry Reda cans, just in case.

My bike has 259 cams, fat cat 2n1 and we ride 75-80 on 4 lanes and 65-70 on two lane rodes.  Wife's bike has V&H and been lowered.  Both are 12 street glides.  I stay on throttle pretty hard and I get 36-38 mpg and she gets 44-46.  Go figure ::)

Springer Dan, yes I am running the SEPRT and a canned map from my local dealership.  I am sure I could probably squeeze more HP and get better milage if I put it on a Dyno but I am content with where it is right now.  Went on a 2,500 mile trip in June mostly 4 lane highway 75 mph two up. I am 220lb wife is um lets say somewhere under 145.   ;D
Mileage did not do much better going to Sturgis in August same speeds but one up.
