I use the same engine oil in all my bikes. Has seemed to work well over the years so why change, right?

We had a very nice day in East TN yesterday. Took off for a ride at 49 degrees and it very quickly warmed to 69. Rode along the Ocoee River gorge then back across the mountain into Tellico. Then some more twisty curvy roads. A Nice 171 mile day.

Took some time off this morning to change out my rear pulley isolator as it has seemed a little sloppy after 112000 miles.

Probably have to do a little ride tomorrow to try out the “green” replacement.

One warranty claim, Rear cylinder base gasket had a weep and was replaced, at the same time I had a Cam upgrade all done at first service.

Low mileage on this one.
Other than routine maintenance,
Replaced fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel line O-Rings to tank and Injectors once.
Replaced both fuel lines due to O-Ring failure once, (they are concealed and not serviceable).
Replaced Crank Sensor O-Ring once. Had a weep for some time before I replace it.
Replaced Hand grips twice.
Original Paint that is in top condition, only a few stone chips in the lowers.
Rear cylinder base gasket has a slight weep again, I'll keep an eye on it and see how it goes.
Probably a few other things have been done but nothing major that I can remember.

Although I have a lot of memories behind those handle bars.

You are correct! The new one is noticeably better and tighter.
I guess over the years and many miles you don’t think about it.

Easy enough to check for sure, just make sure the bike is off! LOL

Why Dave? Why? Why must you torment me with pics and ride routes when it’ll be another 107 days before I leave for the Smokies?

Somebody has to do it.  I'm 60 miles from the Cherahola Skyway.  About the same to the Dragon or Foothills Parkway. When I retired from the Navy we moved here for the riding, Lakes, rivers and mountains.  Been here 25 years now.

I completely get it, same reason we moved to the Shenandoah Valley. Been here 25 years as well, one of the best decisions we've ever made!

Another very nice day in East TN so I took a 139 mile ride along some of our Rivers including the Tennessee, Clinch and Emory.  Nice twisty roads and peaceful.

We finally have a day with the rains over.

Heading out with big Pete to see if the dealer wants to take his trade in of a 2025 CVO road glide st for a 2026 CVO Roadglide st.

Why, you ask?
He likes the citrus red better than his current black!
Go figure!

I’m along for “moral support” only!
