And to answer the as yet unasked question: this is an international model, and the number plate is meant to be mounted low (below the indicator light bar) that is why there is no CVO medallion on the mudguard, now that I have moved it up. I have the CVO medallion on order through my local dealer, but he says that the MoCo are not being very co-operative, by my customer liaison chappy, Brandon says he will win through in the end. He has been told that the one for the mudguard has been discontinued, so he has ordered the one for the fuel door on the 2011 model, which has a great number of parts people at the Moco scratching their heads!

I like that disappearing plate. It's perfect for toll booths, red light cameras, and security parking lots. How did you rig that up?

Ironhorse: The plate is from www.trydeal.com and I bought it online. I have only had it for a few weeks, so I don't know how robust it is. I will report back here if'n I have any problems with it.

Well Peggers I just picked up my freshly painted tourpak tonight and a promise is a promise so here's a few. Please excuse the crappy cellphone pics, better pics will follow after I get everything put back together.

I picked up a new mascot that will tag along on future rides:

I finished installing the tourpac this past weekend so when the  sun came out today AND the temperature hit 60*F !   and took the opportunity to get the bike out of the garage for a short putt after work.

As requested by Peggers a few photos of the bike now that it's back in one piece.

I may have to look into either modifying the airwing rack or finding something different - without a center bar blocking the view - Despite that the paint work itself came out fabulous. The pics really don't do it justice, the painter did excellent matching the theme and colors while still incorporating his style by changing up the flames just enough.
