Bought a bike for my Bro'
« on: November 25, 2013, 05:00:16 PM »

My brother is coming down to Texas this Wednesday for the Holidays.  This is waiting for him.  Do you think he'll like it?  :P

Seriously, I was going to pay cash for a bike for him.  Thought he was into the Road Glides, but turns out he really does like the ultras which were out of my budget.  So I am just putting down what a 13 RG would have cost towards this and he is picking up the rest.  We are looking forward to many miles and many happy memories.

Go figure, he likes the red ones, too.

Regards,

Mark

I don't have a brother, if I did, I would hope he would do it to me.

Thanks Guys.

I was braggin' a little.  I've been blessed and wanted to do something special for my brother.  We lost our Mom when we were young teens and Dad followed way too soon.  We were very close growing up, but things happen and we lost touch for nearly a decade.

About 6 years ago we were reunited and have been riding together as much as possible since.  Promised never to lose touch again.  I had the chance to do something nice for him, so I did it.

Kind Regards,

Mark

Way to go Mark... You are blessed, and so is your brother to have a loving brother such as you.

Here's  :drink:  to many happy miles touring together for years to come.

Take care & ride safe,

Mark,
Great story!  Don't you remember that we are twin sons of different mothers?  Sorry,  that was Fogelberg and Weisberg.  I was blessed to have had a great brother. So this post is very touching for me. Ride on!
