"Probably does not need a remap". If it runs a bit off then get a street tuner and use that, zero warranty risk, low mechanical risk, very cheap. Very low chance of ending up with a big problem or a big bill.
A bike out of warranty...... It's cost benefit. A tts has a high probability to make it run really well, there is always some risk of making a mistake and fubar but if the directions are followed a tts tune to a stock engine may be really good. The REAL question is if it's five hundred dollars good. Say it gets one mpg better how many years will it take to be even?
Cost, benefit, risk. There is a REASON that stock Harley's have a mild cam and mild compression, and it's not cost, it's risk of self destruction. A stock shovel would run maybe thirty k before work, if you cranked it up to nitty six inches and airplane gas they would last five k, well maybe five k..........

I'd bet that if hd had a do over the cvo's would have stayed 103 for a few more years.
