TorqueInc, I am not trying to be disrespectful here, but 90 #'s torque at 2000 RPM vs 70 #'s torque for the stock 103 is not soft for a guy looking for bolt-in performance .

for a guy looking looking to do just exhaust, cams, AC and tune. this is a great combination and if you do decide to do some headwork and increase compression later on you don't have to change cams. I agree that with headwork and compression, this cam really make some serious power.

I have another buddy with a 2012 Streetglide here in Dallas that Lloyd did the same setup on and Ed tuned and he got almost the same #'s, actually a little better on the HP, the only difference in the builds was that he had them add a Rivera Pro clutch. I have ridden this bike before and after the build and this thing is a rocket (compared to stock).

Also...my opinion and $5 will get you some coffee at Starbucks ;D

No problem but telling guys that they can get a curve like that or 90 ft lbs @ 2000 rpm isn't going to be the norm....there are enough pairs of 24D cams out there to see a pattern and they just don't make those numbers in stock engines with stock compression.

If all you intend to do is a  bolt in.....there is better to be had

Torque Inc,
When you say they are soft down low, do you think they'd be OK on a lighter softail that's very seldom ridden 2-up as opposed to a heavier touring bike?

Torque, I am not a builder or cam designer. (now if you want a MC stereo designed and installed, I am your guy :)) I have seen 2 and rode 1 that Lloyd at V-Twin built and Ed at The Dyno Difference tuned that have made those #'s.

Lets put the Dyno #'s aside for a second. It's really about the Butt dyno. This combo works great and makes great usable power on a 103 and you already have the cam to do more with if you choose to down the line. I have a couple friends in our riding group with the Woods 555's in their 103 touring bikes and Russ's SG pulls all of them and stays close too me on my RGC CVO. (my 95 HP and 119 TQ charts are on this site somewhere)

My butt dyno is what convinced me to go with this setup in my newly acquried 2013 RGC 103. I will post my #'s late next week

Yes lighter bike I would have no issue with the 24D

when you say" built " that is a different story

I have ridden several with the 24D and there are better cams for a bolt in 103....there are a large number of people that want a bolt in set of sticks and that is it....I would give them something different.

And I don't rely on sheets either...I look for certain things..but I will tell you that your results are not the norm...a GREAT tune and the right pipe make a huge difference.

Agreed Torque...when you want to do a stereo upgrade, let me know....I will design and install it at cost.
