1957 model here.

I'm kind of glad I grew up when I did... My parents couldn't track me before GPS-enabled cell phones!

only have the fender skirts. if you took a picture of the seam in the hose in those days well it just hard to say how far away you would have to move. so, i guess this thread is as worthless as the dreams of those long ago days.

6/26/1950. Didn't use a computer until 1998. Haven't bought or looked at an issue of Playboy since then.

Got our first color tv for 76 Olympic Games...  Remember having just a little more than one channel but for channel 11 we had to place the antenna facing north with steel wool on the left side.  Family had to sit at the right side of the room.  With some effort, we were able to get channel 4 but only for one person in the room and he had to keep one hand on the right branch of the antenna...

Somehow, I miss those years....      :-*

Born in the 40's. I remember our 1st tv. It had a round picture tube and the cabinet was huge. The store delivered it and it sat in the living room for  week until the technician came out and  put up the outdoor antenna and installed the tv. Man that was a great day. We had one channel and it was on from 10am until 10pm. Life was good and we were happy.
I remember my great-grandmother telling me she had seen it all in hr lifetime. She was from the horse and buggy days. She said, I have seen the invention of cars, refrigerators, the first airplanes and a man landing and walking on the moon. I imagine that would feel like you have seen it all.

1947...I still have a set of Dodge Lancer hubcaps & a fetish for seamed hose. Panty Hose destroyed my childhood fantasy
