It's been 5 weeks today since mine shipped and still, nobody knows where the hell  [smiley=oops.gif]it is at. What a line of BS. Anyway, they were supposed to build another one, even though they have stoped production of the black ice, just for me. (Hey, if they can make this crap up, I can try to keep a stright face.) and it shipped last week. Well, it has been a week and still no scooter.

And is not gonna be there either! Bummer! Sorry rbm, I wish you did win. I would have won too. The trucker called and said that this will be the last stop on a 3 state delivery. It's now showing up on Friday. They need the bike for 24 hours after they get it from their LI warehouse to the NYC dealership. This means it's not ready for me until Monday at the earliest. I bit my tongue and nicely told him not to worry, don't rush my bike, take your time getting my parts on and getting the bike prepped right. It looks like I'll be going there Friday sometime for the uncrating! Hoist!

Welcome to the club Howie, mine went the same way last year.  I guess the "custom" delivery comes with the CVO.

Sorry it's working out that way,based on your proximity to the plant I guess you had a 50/50 chance of being the first stop but you got the back half.  Making the trukers wife happy since he'll be home on Friday.

At least it will arrve soon and we'll be able to get a word in here while you are in the shop or on the road

Let's see..., how can we put a positive spin on this new development?   hmmm.  I know, since you won't be picking the bike up until next Friday, that gives the dealer extra time to make sure they do things right.  And you know they will work more slowly and deliberately since they have all week to get it ready for you.  Yeah.., that's the ticket.  Besides, it's prob'ly gonna be snowy in your part of the world this weekend.

I know that feeling also.  I live 4 1/2 hours from york.  mine was shipped on a Monday and arrived Wed. about noon.(day before Thanksgiving,, yes the driver was in a hurry to get home)  we were his last stop.  he had to go 8 miles down the road, pick up a load of Dunlops and then home.  he was hustling. so hopefully the weather will change in your favor.

Wow! i guess i was lucky when i went in and to get some work done on my Deuce and saw the black ice SERK. Just bought it the next day and road it home No waiting Which i 'm very poor at doing . i did not realize that the bike took that long to get. i'm sure by next year everyone ewill have forgot how long they waited. the bike is well worth the wait I am sure.

Just FWIW, while checking in with my dealer today he noted bikes due for delivery the week of 12/15 only recently showed up.  For sure, this is Colorado, and coupled with the holidays, there were major shipping delays throughout the region and hence much of the west, since little could get through the Rockies.
