You can tell that it's getting cold/wet out when conversations turn to cat puke...

If you have both a cat and a dog, then the cat box is never a problem...dogs just love those tootsie rolls the cats leave, even if they are a little "crunchy" due to the litter.  Just don't let the dog lick your face immediately after dining in the cat's box.   ;) ;D  Depending on consistencey, the cat puke is generally scarfed up as well.

I was going to go there but thought better of it. It's just too frickin nasty! Anyway, you're right, short of stepping in the night time surprises, nothing's grosser than the clean litter box w/ the litter trail.

I have been waiting for days for fresh but alas, all I could find was evidence of what I described earlier defending my assertion...the stain...it does blend in well with the floor...Good Kitty...trying to clean up after yourself!

Don't be grossed out...for all I know it could just be a Beer stain from when Scot visited!

Yep, Bill...that's the liquid left over from the cat barfing alright...seen it before...that's the part they won't eat again...even the dog won't have anything to do with that.  What's great about cats (my last lived 18 years...none presently, thank goodness), is they are fairly self sufficient and can be left for a day or two alone with plenty of food and water.  However, they like to leave little "surprises" for you when you return, generally right in the doorway so you'll be sure to step in it when returning.  Or a nice tootsie roll in the bathtub is always a welcome site... :o :o  Spiteful little bastards...they plan the chit...

See, Don...the occasional chunky puke is not really all that bad... ;D ;D

"...and the strangest thread award goes to..."

I just like it that the moderators tried to be helpful and offered a section for "everything else" and we filled it with six pages (so far) of cat puke  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] .

Amen brother, amen.  Bill has sandpaper residue on the floor and tries to pass it off as old beer barf, someone had four wives and a cat all in the same house at the same time, then there was the 18 year old senile spiteful cat, Ernie's cat with her "offerings" and god knows what else.  Hell, my cat just RALFS once a week or so in this kind of soggy playdoh consitency with occasional textural surprises and it don't even stink much.  In the world of bark I got it easy  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] !

I was trying so hard to stay away from this. But it's like a really bad accident. You know you shouldn't look, but you just can't help looking! Maybe with only one eye. When you start talking about recycling this stuff into racing fuel....Hoist!
