The kick was to keep the Barf in...Tasty!

Or off the comforter if that fails...

That's not what the cat thought when you kicked the barf out of it!

The mental image is unsettling though Bill.  Cat is preparing to RALF.  Cat gets kicked.  Cat either jumps or is propelled across time and space.  As cat does so it is still RALFing.  Cat spins through the air.  Barf slings EVERYWHERE within range.  oooh, yuck.

The trick here is to be...well, as quick as a cat....(sorry, couldn't help myself), even out of a dead sleep...no time for idling or revving the engine...it's WOT or nothing....there are generally a series of Pre-Hurl gagging reflexes on the part of said cat, as heard on the "Here, Kitty, Kitty" audio clip...quickly grab cat, and place on a more suitable surface for capturing whatever state of digestion is about to see the light of day, or night, again.

Terry, must admit to questioning the tactics here.  If you've already captured the cat, and if you're already moving toward a suitable surface, why not just eschew the entire "surface" idea and combine the vomit target and the clean up process all in one?  Just hold the cats head under water in the toilet.

Cat will be more agreeable to being moved quickly to another surface...picture, if you will, holding cat well out from any contact with things other than hands, and sprinting, if hurling process begins prior to postioning cat in desired location, human can quickly drop said cat and fetch paper towels...however, putting cat near water in a half or completely naked state during the middle of the night...the risk factor for damage to male appendages goes up exponentially with the proximity to said toilet.  I speak here from experience....

There is another option depending on the speed with which one can relocate said cat. Open closest exterior door and toss said cat outside. Much easier to clean up with a rake! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Okay delete that option.

Note to self: Tossing said cat outside when sick will result in some type of sexual deprivation. [smiley=nervous.gif]

Are you worried that it tells you something about yourself?

Yep, I'm worried ... it tells me that I'm as sick as most of the other clowns on this site.
