I was trying so hard to stay away from this. But it's like a really bad accident. You know you shouldn't look, but you just can't help looking! Maybe with only one eye. When you start talking about recycling this stuff into racing fuel....Hoist!

Hoist!
Roll up the sleeves, grab some paper towels and jump right in, the puke is fine! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I can't believe after what I have just read, seen, and heard, I haven't puked myself! :o Especially after seeing that cat in the sunroof. I had to view that again to see if what I just saw was real. [smiley=nervous.gif]

Ok, my cat just RALFed about a half hour ago.  I practiced the empirical model for everyone's benefit.  Upone close inspection the consistency was much like that of baby poo with a few lumps thrown in.  Striations of hair and other unidentified substances seemed to work as binding elements.  If you poked it it did not jiggle.  Slightly more solid then than. It did, however, indent.  Color was a mix of oranges and shades of brown.  Much like the cat food that is the current diet.  But with other shades mixed in.  All in all a generally unpleasing tapestry.  Odor was rather a tuna-purina-barf-semi-sickly-sweet-digestive kind of scent.  Not repugnant or repellant, but not pleasing either.  When thrown with a proper velocity it would both offer a resounding and pleasing "splat" sound while also sticking to the wall.  While some several inches of splatter were apparent there was very little run off in the first 18 seconds.  After that one did not wish to be below grade.

I must say, this all brings back memories to me.  I too once had a cat that could not keep it down.  It didn't matter what he was fed, how much, how often etc.  He would eat, and then shortly thereafter you would hear that sound that makes you sit bolt upright in bed at night.  Its a sound that will awaken you from the deepest of sleeps.  If you've heard it, you know what I'm talking about, that glug - glug - glug - guhhhhhh!!!!

Anyway, he was healthy, lived for 10 years, and barfed his food for all of them.  The way I dealt with it was to switch to a food that left the least amount of a stain on the carpet.

Moral of the story..... some cats puke often, others don't.

By they way, I still have his sister, who turned 16 in July.
