Hey, Gang...anyone know if 09 CVO touring muffs had the cat in the muff or not?

That only applied to California bikes

Nope, ive removed about 15 headpipe cats on Michigan Cvo 09
` touring bikes, your right that, the non cvo. 09s did not have cats in the head pipe a whole bunch of members on this board swapped header pipes and there was a full length picture post on drilling out the cats with a core drill.

It was called CA and Northeast emission package that got cats in the head pipes in 2009. Not sure of what all states got them but it was more than just CA.
