CVO Key

Was my SE Dyna supposed to come with a CVO Key or is that something extra that I would have to order?

Yes, and a cloth storage cover with the CVO embroidery on the front!

The moco site indicates you're supposed to get a key and the "indoor storage cover with embroidered CVO logo".

unless you bought it used, and the original owner kept it.  every SE comes with the fancy key and cover.

I guess this is why we so many CVO covers for sale on eBay. They're going for about $100-$150.

wifes got an 05 SEFB, I've got an 07 SERK.  so I naturally assumed (yeah, I know,  ass-u-me)
that all years came with them.  SORRY [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

I purchased my 01 SE Road Glide new and it did come with the cover but no CVO key, however the dealer was absolutely delighted to sell me a CVO key.

Along with the key I know of years after '04 they came in a nice little box, unlike mines that was wrapped in bubble wrap. >:(

Hey, what's that? My 05 did not come with a box, came in bubble wrap in a little cloth bag. I want my box :'(
Bought my 03 SED used, came with the cover but no key. I asked the guy about it and he said he did not get a key.

mines came in a nice box......  from a different dealer after i got the bike used...  and they gave the "huh"?  about the key....
the original owner buys a new CVO every year... so my guess is he has a shelf full of em....
i'll never use the damn thing, but hell....  it looks cool.

Our family has an 07 Screamin Eagle Dyna, Springer, Road King, and Ultra Classic.  All of them came with CVO Key in box.  We also have an 06 SE Vrod and 05 SE Electra Glide ... they also came with CVO keys in box.
