O.K. a proper introduction is in order.

Hello fellow MRRA members, my name is Bruce I'm not only a chromaholic but I've been know to spend endless hours cleaning my bikes often involving the use of Q-Tips.....The bikes chrome must always shine and the paint must always glisten... I admit to having used detail spray during fuel stops...It has been said I will change and/or modify a component because I have this affliction and just can't leave things alone...

I have a very understanding and supportive wife..

Hello my name is Eric and I'm a chromaholic. I'm especially addicted to the chromed parts that for no particular reason are claimed by chromaholics such as myself to make our bikes go faster.

Well if we have a 12 step program we must have some promises...

If we are painstaking about this phase of our bike’s development, we will be amazed before we are half way through.  We are going to know a new speed and excitement.  We will not regret our non-CVO bikes nor wish to forget them.  We will comprehend the word obsessive and never be satisfied.  No matter how clean our bike is, we will want it cleaner.  That feeling of a need for a ride will never disappear.  We will lose interest in other matters in our life and gain interest in our machines.  Self-satisfaction will slip away.  Our whole attitude and outlook on other scooters will change.  Fear of spending money and saving it will leave us.  We will intuitively know how to race the hell out of our motorsickles and baffle others.  We will suddenly realize that God has blessed us and we are enjoying life.

Are these extravagant promises?

We know not!  They are being fulfilled among us – sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly.  They will always materialize if we spend our money and love our bikes.

My name is senorjeem, and although I am only recently coming to the realization that I need help and have a serious life altering affliction, I tried to have a MRRA meeting in my Hoghouse and after partaking of the holy water, I found myself "speaking in tongues", most amazing!  I have truly been blessed!  I will surely try to repeat the event in the near future, and may even consider a road show!  Up here in the North country the roadshow will have to be fairly short as between the two seasons (Summer and New Chrome), New Chrome is definitely longer, which tends to be why more people succumb to their addictions and find themselves sitting at the mailbox for days on end waiting for the elusive online ordered piece to show up from parts unknown.  I am so glad to finally have a support group to lean on.

Hello my name I Bob and I tooooo am a Chrome-alcoholic. BUT guyz I figured out why.

It is not are fault. We were all CROWS in another life (cuz they love shiney things).

So now we have a mascot. A -CROW- "SCREAMIN CROW"
and when we have a gathering it could be the MRRA murder. (flock of crows is a murder).... ;D
