Sorry to hear about your accident. :'(
I hope you heal quickly and the bike gets repaired soon too. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
I agree with others in that you should not have to pay a deductable when the other person is at fault. All expenses should be covered by other's insurance unless you are in one of the "No fault" states.

Thank you so much VaEagle!! I think the deductible will be paid by her insurance according to my insurance company.

Glad to hear you're OK, Rob!  Looks like the bike's "engine guard" protected your leg from worse damage.  The bike can be fixed...just glad to hear you're up and about.

TC!!! So glad you guys were able to get your C Nut fixed in time and that your ride and visit down here went well!! Thanks for your thoughts and well wishes!!

Got a half mile mud\snow and gravel driveway to get to the pavement so no riding until it dries out good. Hope you get to ride again soon. By the way that RG looks sweet.

Just want to echo the already said "get wells" and also that it could have been much worse.  Don't know about Ocala but down here you really have to put your radar on maximum sensitivity and range because there's no telling what the drivers will or won't do, regardless of their signaled intentions or lane choice.  I stick to the backroads, myself.

Again, glad you're OK.  Bikes can be fixed much easier than people.

Sorry to hear about your accident and glad you weren't hurt too bad.  You can always rely on someone (idiot) to cut you off.  It's amazing you didn't go down.  Good riding on your part.

Get well soon.

Cheers, Moe

Rob,
Glad to hear you're okay and the bike isn't too torn up.  You may find you mend much faster than the bike.  I was in my dealer yesterday, chatting with them about my parts manual I have on order.  They told me that the manuals aren't supposed to ship until the first part of JANUARY!  Nobody has ANY parts manuals, dealers, nobody!  That was my exact sentiment to the parts manager- what happens if somebody goes down???  Essentially I was told they have to wait until parts manual comes out before parts can be ordered!  I hope that's not the case, but I'm not sure how anybody can order the painted stuff without the correct part numbers.   Wishing you the best for a speedy leg recovery and a speedy bike recovery!

That's probably the case for the computerized dealers.
