Day Four | Bar Harbor, ME – St. Johns, New Brunswick, Canada | 225 miles

A visit to Acadia National Park was in order…

Acadia National Park is a 47,000-acre Atlantic coast recreation area primarily on Maine's Mount Desert Island. Its landscape is marked by woodland, rocky beaches and glacier-scoured granite peaks.

Who knew there was a Pebble Beach on the West Coast too?

Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the United States’ East Coast.

After spending the morning at Acadia, it was time to head towards the border!

We would take US Highway 1 to Canada and enter there!  At least I thought we would!

Once at the border, one of the krewe had an issue crossing and it took over 45 minutes to resolve.  In the end we all made it but for a while it did not look good!

Once into Canada, we traveled the Trans Canadian Highway 1 and 790 to St. John.

Day Five | St. John, New Brunswick – Liverpool, Nova Scotia | 225 miles

It would be here that we would take the ferry to Nova Scotia.  I had originally planned for it to be in Bar Harbor but the CAT ferry was cancelled as it has not opened since the season began!
