A well tuned HD will run fine from 1800 RPM and up without the bumb bumb bumb. It just takes time and effort on the low speed tuning to allow it to happen. I would not like to see it much lower than that for day in, day out riding. Also if you pulling a trailer around I would say keep in higher than 1800 due to all the weight.

I read somewhere about keeping the RPM above 2200 due to the oil pressure on an EVO, is this the same on the newer twin cam pumps?

A Big Twin in proper shape will hold oil pressure down to about 800 RPM, so that's not an issue. While I would not leave a BT idling below 800 running them down that low doesn't hurt.

13 CVO Roadglide
Stock Heavy Breather Air Cleaner
Fueling cam plate
Fueling Oil Pump
Fueling 574C Cams
S&S Premium lifters
S&S Adjustable Pushrods
Fullsac "D" X-pipe"
Fullsac 2" CVO Cores

No other internal mods!

113.26 HP and 118.6 Ft Lb Torque

By the way, we tested with and without the billet cover over the heavy breather and found no difference in peak numbers. Was very surprised by this as the cover blocks about 1/2 the filter.

I assume u use tts. Do you have a tune listed in tts?  If so which one u used?

Dan, thanks!
no new head gaskets, only internal mods were listed in the first post. This is one of the best curves we've seen with the 574 cams as a bolt in. The Fullsac "d" xpipe and 2" cores did it's job as well. This cam is quiet and valve train noise is minimal. The 54's work as well but I like the way the 574 cam carries out a wide flat curve.
I just sent you a P M ....could this set up work well with a 2010 CVO streetglide  D&D fat cat ?stock air  22,000 miles Thank you Keith....
