Do you have a PV already?  If not, I know that TTS can adjust the speedometer.  I've done it on several bikes.  It seems to me that I've read that PV can adjust the speedo as well, but not 100% certain about it.

Seems to me that decreasing the number would cause the odometer to show a higher speed and visa versa a higher number shows a slower speed.  I used a GPS to check my actual speed as compared to my bike and then used cross multiplication to find the new number.  It was spot on after the adjustment.  Course, thus was on a TTS equipped bike.

I changed from 2206 to 2450 on my 2011 Ultra when I went to a 30 tooth pulley.

2010 CUSE5 After doing the 30 tooth conversion I changed my VSS correction (Quick Tune) from 2250 to 4410 . This took several guesses as my speedo had always been about 4% optimistic. after the 30T swap it was closer to 10% optimistic. I started at 4475 and t&e-ed to end up at 4410 which is dead-nuts matched with the GPS at 50~60mph. I will test further to see if it changes at other speeds.
EDIT: those 4xxx numbers should be 2xxx

2410 being the final number.

Wow-- 4410 is a HUGE change.  I've never seen anything that needed anything close to that----but, if it's reading right that's all that really matters.

Ha-Ha!  no, you caught me not paying attention!

No, 2410 is the correct number... I don't know why I had "4" on the brain that day.

That's a whole lot better!!  I wasn't sure how in the world such a change had you reading correctly!  Thanks for the correction.

Btw: when I did the 30T (2010 ultra) the sixth gear indicator and cruise control continued to work just fine before and after the calibration fix.

I have doe a 30T upgrade on a breakout & found the same results....no issue with the cruise or the gear indicator light

I am now thinking to go up on the tooth count for the rear pulley

we don't have the same speed rules down here that you guys have.........................:(

I *really* like the change on my ultra. Today I rode two-up and the difference from a stop is huge; the difference at highway speeds is seemingly slight. 80 mph at 3250 (approx) versus 3000. Sixth is now much more usable at 55mph as well. It's a win-win.

What 30 Tooth did you go with?
I was reading that on the chassis 09 and up , the better option was the 31 Tooth on the tranny

HD 83595-11
This is the 30-tooth that is a TriGlide piece.
I understand that some are reluctant to do the 30T because there isn't quite enough adjustment to use the stock belt...
so you have to either:
1.) use an aftermarket (shorter) 139T belt *OR*
2.) modify the swing arm to allow enough adjustment to retain the stock belt.
The swing arm mod is the way I went as I don't care for off-brand belts.

The swing arm mod means relieving the slots in the arm 0.210"to allow the axle to move farther back.
Arguably, that is all that you'd need to do, but since that leaves the back of the slot without a lot of 'beef', the popular thought is to add some steel here to provide extra strength. That's the way I went. Search for "gusset mod".

This is the method I used,  opting for wider/thicker, while others are doing a narrow flange idea. It doesn't matter, the purpose is just  to make sure there is enough to strength after cutting away the slots.
