Don't start having bad thoughts again, 2Lane.   ::)

By the way, the engravings look nice (but the 1st setting looks like a grave marker)..

It was a sample made for zippers by a well known filter company...I was trying to locate one and someone came
across the web site and emailed me saying that they had what I was wanting...
It was plain luck...and I think it looks great.

Oh Yeah...Thanks to Grover for the help on the cover and the idea...

Barry,
That's great, and hopefully that "well known filter company" ;) made it in a reusable style so you can keep that color forever. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Wow!  Barry, that's cool!  8-) That color green just jumps right out at ya and goes w/ the bike so good.  Is it a paper throw-away type and Can you get a replacement when needed?  And if it's cloth, how do you oil it w/o mucking up the color? Gotta keep that look!  [smiley=cucumber.gif] [smiley=mango.gif] [smiley=jalapeno.gif]  har~  [smiley=drink.gif] spyder

You can get the cleaner and oil from Green Performance Filters, they are on the web. They use a filter similar to K&N but with both cotten and foam.  http://www.greenfilterusa.com/default.asp

Hey, you found your green filter!  That's alright!!  Very very cool.  Hell, I'm green with envy Barry  [smiley=cucumber.gif] .

And, FWIW, I like the look of the just the lid like that too.  Just don't like the idea of the completely open element for an over the road bike.  I could conceivably end up leaving mine that way too (if I don't stumble in to a relatively easy solution that I really really like).  But if I do the open element is always going to bug me a little.
