Thanks again, Boatman, I like the look of the Chrome line and I have already installed the Chrome Neutral switch cover, Chrome Solenoid cover, a ton of toppers and SS screws. again for the price one would think it should have come that way
The bolts especially. It is quite frankly more than a little chicken chit that HD doesn't do those. I supposed one would have to at least listen to the argument that some guys might like some of the extra cover more than others. Or that they couldn't put on just everything (though for the price even these are somewhat facetious).
But the bolts? We got some covers (like the oil line cover) that if you went to buy it as an accessory over the counter would come with a chrome bolt. Except (at least on the SEEGs) for us we get the extra chrome cover all right; but with ugly bolts standing starkly in the middle of it. Tranny covers, side covers, timer cover, derby cover, all the other fancy or even special CVO only pieces; and ugly bolts.
There is not a bike owner in Harleydom who would want the fancy cover with the ugly bolts in the middle of it. That is not a matter of taste of choice. It's Harley just getting not just cheap, but exceptionally cheap; and doing so at our expense because they are sure they can.
